How to Win a 100% Scholarship in the USA: Requirements and Key Points
A US bachelor’s degree takes 4 years, and a scholarship is usually awarded for all 4 years. Students with 11 years of schooling are accepted too (a Foundation year is not required).
Required documents
- English test: IELTS / Duolingo / TOEFL. Minimum: IELTS 5.5, Duolingo 95, TOEFL 80.
- SAT: 1300–1400 recommended.
- GPA: grades from the last 4 years.
Important
Some universities award a 90–100% “Merit scholarship” based only on an English test plus GPA (even without SAT). The university calculates your GPA and decides the scholarship accordingly.
Note: not every university offers this — some require the SAT.
